Before you come...
People who would like to experience the inside beauty of Taipei, please understand our environment and facilities to decide if it could meet your expectation and demand. We heartedly hope no visitor would miss any opportunity to fall in love with special charm of Minsheng community due to misunderstanding. Therefore, please read the complete explanation as following before your stay.
Environment
Minsheng community is limited to build high-rises due to flight route nearby. We do not have brand new buildings. Residents carefully maintain their neighborhood and living quality. We don not have bustling nightclubs, nor Mass Transit Railway station nearby. (but we do have a convenient bus system, which can reach all MRT lines without transfer.)
However, we have plenty parks, leafy big trees and sunlight dancing every corner. The best way to befriend with this community is saunter, bicycling at a leisurely pace. You could find a bistro with fair price for a satisfying meal, then pick up a coffee shop (honestly, most of them are surprisingly professional) enjoying a good afternoon.
Although lacking of famous historical interests, you can find public bicycling service YouBike stops nearby, less than 30 seconds to the nearest point after you leave our building. You can visit Taipei by bicycling without taking MRT. You can get on a riverside bike route along Keelung River within 10 minutes. Along the route, it takes less than 15 minutes to Raohe Street Night Market.
Facilities
Our place is located at the street with most leafy scenery and curious small shops in the community. Considering it is at second floor of a vintage apartment, we have some restrictions：
1.No elevator. Two rooms share a toilet and a bathroom.
2.Please keep voice down when you open and close the door. No smoking. No clamor.
3.It is unfit for renting the whole apartment. It is unsuitable for pet and child below three-years old.
What we offer:
1.We have two rooms: big room (Tree Room, maximum for 3) and small room (Book Room, maximum for 2), both have wide windows with tree views.
2.Two rooms share one set of bathroom and toilet. Both are equipped with heating system, guaranteeing a cozy bath or shower during winter time.
3.We do not have TV but mini audio system. Our environment is more compatible with pleasant melody than restless TV news and programs.
4.We have two public areas: one for reading, and the other for writing, all with free Wi-Fi. The idea is to offer a communication space between apartment owner and visitors.
5.We do not provide meals. There are plenty of bistros worthy of trying a bite, which will be a wonderful experience you will not want to miss. We provide water and coffee, as well as deserts and fruits occasionally at public area. Please feel free to have them.
Reminding sincerely:
1.We are located at a quiet block without heavy traffic loads. However, the apartment is at corner, you may hear noise at night if cars passed by. In order to guarantee a quality sleep, we prepare earplugs in the room. If you are sensitive to noise, please consider carefully before you make a reservation.
2.Please check in after 3PM and check out before 12PM.
3.Only one visitor is welcomed but limited to female.
